The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alexandria - Fort Belvoir was perfect for us as friends who enjoy going out at night. The beds were extra comfy and the staff, particularly Ann at the reception desk and Alex in the kitchen, were amazing. The housekeeping ladies kept our room top-notch, and the shuttle driver, Jon, was a great blessing, going above and beyond to help us with train tickets. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the location was convenient to Old Town and RFK Stadium.

Not obvious to find

The location was perfect, with easy access to Ronald Reagan airport and Huntington station. The room was spacious and clean, with wonderful facilities like a tea/coffee maker and a well-stocked bathroom. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, providing a good start to my days exploring the area. Plus, the hotel was situated in a pretty nice area with plenty to see and do!

The only downside was the occasional non-cooperative and rude staff members at the property.

They truly put the customer first. The location of the hotel was also great - peaceful, quiet, and safe. I felt like I received personal service throughout my stay. The breakfast was satisfactory, with options for vegetarians like fruit, oatmeal, and soy milk. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and pleasant ambiance.
